Default 2009 XK Bluetooth problems

I have an HTC HD2 phone that just won't work with my Jaguar system. I'm about to buy a new phone and am thinking of the HTC AMAZE. Has anyone had problems pairing this with a Jaguar and getting it to work via bluetooth?

Welcome to the forum jr555,

Jaguar Bluetooth can be very frustrating mainly due to the limited phone compatability but it's worth persevering to get it setup. I see you've got started with questions and advice. Good luck.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Smile HTC HD2 Pairing

Hi JR555. I have an HTC HD2 phone and had the same difficulty pairing in my 2008 Jag XJ 2.7 diesel. Problem solved by swiching off the Data Connection setting in the HD2 phone and the pairing is fine.
I have just got the HTC One V phone and it pairs with the jaguar without any issues. Hope this helps.

Good to have you with us.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

tuning off the data connection doesn't do anything. still have problems. Incoming calls will not go through speaker system and outgoing calls are dropped after a few minutes. very frustrating.
