Hello. First time joining a form and first post. I have a 2015 XF 2.0 gas Jag with a bad timing chain sprocket on the intake side. I think I can repair this myself but finding information on these cars is very difficult. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to forum rls2122,

2015 was a model change year from the original 2007-2015 XF (factory code X250) to the current 2015 onwards XF (factory code X260). Do you have one of the last of the X250 or one of the first X260?

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Thank you for replying. According to my local mechanic who does good work it is a x250 but how can I double check? Finding "how to" literature on this motor is next to impossible. The last 5 numbers of the vin are 72387

You'll find the VIN decode for X250 in this thread:

Double click on the image to make it full size.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information. I've seen links to download Workshop Manuals posted there. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
