HELP!!!!!
I recently had an extra smart key programed for my recently purchased Jaguar F-Type S at the dealership. After about 2 or 3 trips, I got in to start it and NOTHING!!!!!. I bought a new battery and it's good. When I press on the great to press the START button, NOTHING!!! I get a full dash lights and headlights work fine. It just will not engage the starter. Is there someone out here that might know why it won't start???? The battery has been tested and it's good. This vehicle does not have the lithium ion battery dedicated to the ignition system. What could this be???

Hold the key to indentation under steering wheel. When the key battery is low-ish, it doesn't always work. Also, try the other key if the problem the same it is likely something else.

I would be straight back to the dealer with this and get them to rectify it. Once you begin changing anything in an attempt to fix it yourself, their opportunity to deny responsibility increases.
