'87 XJS

I am new to this site & am hopeful that someone can help with a transmission issue I am having - I have owned this car since '88 and 3 yrs ago I spent around $5K in maintance repairs - in the last couple of year I have only started and brief drove the car; this past spring the car started right up but when I went to back out, nothing happened;I have never had any shifting problems & shifted fine before it was put away for winter - I assume that something is clogged from sitting - any ideas ?

I also have a '02 XJR whichI love & hope to keep for another 20 yrs as well

lol, nice Big.

Welcome skirunner. Someone driving something more classic then my car, good stuff. My guess is just leaving the car sitting to long messed something up, a tune up maybe will fix it, could be expensive.

Put up some pictures man, I bet this is a beautiful car, I love XJS's
