Hi J&T, welcome to the forums.
XJS is a beautiful car.
Have you checked all the bushings?

If it's gone from beyond "annoying" to "serious concern" then it has to be more than that.

I recommend you take the question to XJS forum for advice from members with the same model. Relevant background will help - has this just begun or has it been like this since you acquired the vehicle and is there any evidence of (repaired) accident damage that leads you to believe it may be frame distortion?

A regular cause of unnerving handling on this era Jaguar is worn/ failed front crossmember vee mounts or round bushes.

This Intro thread has been viewed by 147 members so far. The New Member Area - Intro a MUST is an opportunity for newbies to tell us something about themselves and their vehicles. It is not intended to be the place to resolve technical issues.

For technical advice, you should post a question in the relevant model forum which in your case is the XJS forum. We have several very experienced and knowledgeable XJS owners who are rarely beaten by issues on the model.

Welcome.

Graham has started the ball rolling, and at 26 years old, most of the rubber compoents are well past their use by date, not uncommon by any means.

See you in the XJS area.
