Question Activate Seat Heaters in XF X260

Hi All,
I had cause to strip my drivers seat recently and lo and behold I discovered it has a seat heater fitted (I think?). At least there is a connector coming out of the squab leather cover.
That said I do not have seat heating in my system menus.
Is there a way to activate the Seat heating option, e.g. via SDD service software?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Welcome to the Forums.

No idea, but the members in the XF (X260) Tech Section will know.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums usaussie,

Jaguar use a limited number of vehicle harnesses so you will find several connectors throughout the vehicle which do nothing if you don't have the relevant option fitted. The seat heater could be an example.

I can see you've already found your way to the X260 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the Australia - New South Wales / ACT Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...-wales-act-93/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Feeling a bit Stupid today. After further thoughts on my 'Seat Heaters' I realised that the connectors were going to the 'passenger present' sensors!
