We have a 99 white XK8 convertible. My forever car. She has 72,000 miles on her. Of course, all the wicked things that happen to this year model have happened to us. New transmission replaced under warranty, the old top spewing hydraulic oil twice j(once under warranty) once waiting to be fixed. Then the most loved Engine Safe Mode, fixed more than once under warranty. No explanation for why it happened. And now finally leanring the throttle body is the problem. NOT under warranty after 12 years.

Got great info on this site to discover we could have the throttle body rebuilt! Found a great mechanic who worked with us to pull it out and put it back in while doing a few other things to the car.

The leather needs some work, and there is data here to figure that out too. So we are glad to finally be members. What a great site.

You've had some adventures already! Hope the leather is the last item on the list.

If you've tried to amend your Signature as Norri suggested, it's not showing up. Go to User CP button on the left of the black main menu bar. Under Your Profile go down to Settings & Options then Edit Signature to enter your details.
