Default Ambition Achieved

Have always lusted after a Jag but 'practical' considerations have always managed to sidetrack me i.e. MPG, Insurance Premiums, family practicalities etc etc. Anyhow, finally kicked over the traces and am now the proud owner of a very presentable 1983 XJSC, 3.6 manual, bought on a recent trip to UK. Not perfect but a lot of fun. Living in France I don't have easy access to spares so shall be requesting info on reliable suppliers in UK. Just had a bad experience and am now in possession of incorrectly supplied parts which the UK supplier refuses to exchange. (Shall supply details of the supplier should other folk out there be interested). So, that's me, look forward to meetings other owners.
Best to all - StuD

Welcome to the forum StuD,

(I've moved your post from the end of another Intro thread to a new one of your own.)

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link XJS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Europe Region section by following this link Europe - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in mainland Europe.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
