Living in the Midwestern U.S. (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) the climate ranges from 99 degrees F to -25 degree F which is a challenge for a home mechanic. I prefer performance vehicles and have come appreciate the unique qualities of Jaguar. As a former Fire Chief, I am very familiar with expensive complex performance vehicles that require exceptional maintenance. I prefer to do my own maintenance, because I know its done right (a fireman trait). I also appreciate people that help other people. Hopefully I will be able to give more than I take from the forum. I drive a 2010 XF Premium, a 2004 XJ Vander Plas, a 2003 Corvette Convertible, a 1985 Corvette Coupe and a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. I like go fast with style.
