battery drains

battery drains
my 1995 xj6 dash lights stay on and i don't no what else. on very dim. does anyone have an idea what could be causing this. car was fine till i turned the lights on one night. when I shut the car off i noticed the dim dash lights. i disconnect the battery and there is a bit of spark.
