At this point in life, I am joining your Community of 'Jag Lovers"! After buying my first Jag, a 1998 Topaz XK Coupe, which was so good looking that a Guy chased me down to buy it for his Wife, who just had to have it! I found another in NYC on eBay. It was a 2000 Black XKR with only 8900 miles on it...When I got back to Texas, I had the Oil changed and the Shop Owner's Wife just had to have it! It took a couple more Oil changes before She got that one....Then it was back to eBay and found a 2003 Black/Beige with Montreal Wheels in Chicago.....This time another Lady got it! She hit me in the Drivers side and totaled it...but She told me she would love to have one like it, just not totaled.....
Now I'm on my 4th one...2005 XKR Black/Ivory with Montreal Wheels...It had been mistreated, so I had the Engine rebuilt.....Ported all the way from the Throttle Body to the XJ Exhaust Manifolds...Poly Coated he Piston tops and Combustion chambers......Changed to the Big Pulley/Little Pulley and had the Computer reflashed by Eurotek in NY. Since then, I've had a larger Intercooler and a Snow Performance Water/Methanol Injector System installed. Finally, because I had to make some changes to the exhaust system when I decided to use the XJ exhaust manifolds, I changed the to MagnaFlow cat convertors and installed a QuickSilver Exhaust system. It runs pretty good and holds it's own with a 5 Liter. I'm not much for the newer XK's, so I put way to much money into the '05....Main thing is...I love it!

Thank you Jim! I look forward visiting with everyone and actually helping some poor soul out with his Jag problems....Lord knows I have had my share over the years! I love the 1998 thru 2006 XK Coupes, just a beautiful Automobile and over the past 15 years of ownership, I have learned a great deal about them.......Maybe I will be able to past on something that will help some XK-XKR owner.
