I've been driving a BMW Z3 for a few years, but I always envied the XK drivers! Every time I saw one I'd think "That's the care I really want!" Well I finally bought one today. I've been searching for a good deal and I found a 2003 XK8 for $15K. I talked the guy down to $14K and sealed the deal. It's loaded with everything, including the navigation system. It's silver with a black interior (just like my Z3, BTW). The acceleration is mind-boggling compared to the Z3, which only has a 1.9 liter 4-cylinder in it.

Anyway... I'm glad to be a member of the club. My wife and I are going to be taking a two-week road trip through the western US in a couple of months. I can't wait.

 

Congrats on the XK! Its a great car to drive, my dad has one and I drive it once in a while and its much faster than my x-type. The roadtrip sounds fun too.

Hmmm... I'll have to think about it. Maybe if you could paint it silver, turn it into a convertible, make it a little smaller, reshape the front end so it's pointier, put bigger wheels and wider tires on it...
