Default From Cambridge to New York...

Hi
Arrived in USA 2 weeks ago. Will be here on and off a lot. New York is our base - out in Rye Brook. Went out and bought an XJR last week from New Jersey. 2004 model in Grey. Wonderful car. I have owned every Jag from 1972 XJ onwards....this is my 16th saloon! I also have restored and own a 1973 E type roadster which is sadly staying in England for now. Have written articles over the years for JEC England and other car mags.
XJR was bought with a couple of issues - I can sort these out over time. Main one is the loss of sound which I am hoping is an amplifier issue.
I love all Jags. I have had XJS too - almost all the versions inc TWR racing one...
Would welcome recommendations for friendly and knowledgable Jag specialists in the area around Greenwich and Rye. Want a few things checked and dont have any tools yet - and if anyone can tell me where to get used stuff like that even better. Something like an automobilia fair or show? I am going to the Greenwich Concours in 10 days - there will be a big old Jag presence there if anyone wants to meet up and swap notes....

Great forum and a super resource. Look forward to getting involved.
