Welcome to the forums Beverley,

(I've deleted your duplicate Intro thread with the same question.)

That seems a lot by UK standards to me. It would have to be an immaculate one owner example with full dealer history or some exceptional provenance before I'd consider it. I see from your IP Address you are in Warrington so I expected the car would be offered by Warrington Jaguar Centre but cannot find anything equivalent in their inventory.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Beverley,
A good price for a Used Car greatly depends on the care it has received to this point, mileage aside.
It can look Lovely on the outside but have a Multitude of problems where you can't see them. I can tell you how I know that regarding my own Jaguar. If you have repair/maintenance documentation, that's golden. If not, well, that's a question.

In the end, most people buy Jaguars based on Emotion. If you've fallen in love with the car you'll probably buy it anyway, but it would be good to know what you're getting into. Only documentation will tell you that.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
