Coolant Leak

Coolant Leak
I have a 03 jaguar s type. Had it for about 1yr now. Have been having some issues with it. Nothing major. Want to keep it well maintained for my oldest. Anyways right now its having a bad coolant leak coming from the bottom. Tried to locate it but couldn't. Bringing it to the shop is the last thing I want to do. I've already filled it with sealant twice. It did work for a little. Now the coolant just pours out. Can anyone try and help me out in the right direction? Please and thank you.

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy!
If the coolant is just pouring out, then you have a major leak, e.g. a split radiator seam, blown radiator hose or fitting, etc. You are going to have to safely raise the car, remove the lower engine cover/tray and see what is what.
Once you have located and fixed the leak, you will need to completely flush the cooling system and refill with the recommended coolant. The sealant, or stop leak chemicals, that you used are bad stuff that can clog up your DCCV (heater valve) and give you problems down the road. It is also a very bad idea to mix anti-freeze types...
Good luck...

When I found mine I used a radiator pressure hand pump .tokk off the undertray and the radiator shield. Mine was so bad I had my son pumping it up so I could look . Found a tank seam had split. If you don't have access to the pressure pump you can rent one at some auto parts stores or buy at harbor freight if nearby. There are so many coolant hoses and a couple valves and electric pumps you really have to eyeball everything. By using the pump you can also do it when the coolant is cold which is a big plus
