Daimler XJ6 1993
Hi Everyone,
I am a new member, my name is Paul and I live on the South Island of New Zealand with perfect roads for driving an XJ6.My problem is that the car sometimes loses power when I apply the throttle. The check engine warning light comes on and the VCM shows fuel 12. When I switch off the ignition and switch back on the car starts and runs fine, it happened twice yesterday on a trip if 150 kms, any ideas as to what the problem may be ?

Welcome to the forum Paul, nice piece of country down your way. I toured there on motorcycles many years ago(In summer of course).

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the New Zealand Region forum by following Clarke's link in post #3 to find other members in your region.
