Default Did machine shop install rear wheel bearings wrong?

We had a local machine shop press new rear bearings in 95 XJS wheel assembly. When everything was back on the car there is 1/2" or more wobble in the wheel. (The machine shop ordered the bearings.)

I removed the wheel and checked the brake rotor. It's flat against the hub. We put the tire back on tightening the lug nuts in a star pattern a little at a time.

The wobble is still there. I think the machine shop didn't install the bearings correctly.

Short of pulling the wheel assembly and half shaft, taking them to the machine shop so they can see the wobble does anyone have suggestions?

I finished chemotherapy, beat the cancer and am back at work. The chemo was a bear and I'm not 100% yet. I can only work on the car a little at a time. I could have done a wheel assembly R & R in an afternoon. Now it takes several days of a little at a time.

Thanks in advance,
