hi everyone.
i am the owner of a xjs 88 convertible, garaged in Australia and i just bought myself a xk8 while i life in germany, which in term i wil take with me back home, when the time comes. i will get the car next week going thru registraton etc. i will have some questions later on about the xk8. other than that, unfortunately time is slowly running out for driven the convertibles and comes closer to go into the winter sleep (garage).
i hope i will get some answers related to the posibly both cars later on and looking forward to answer any question i can, either technically or bringing a car to Germany from GB etc.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to the forum. I'm an Aussie just moved back home after 8 years in Switzerland.

Interesting that you bought a car to take back to Oz when the time comes, I did the same with my XJR.

Good job you bought a RHD in the UK, I bought the XJR in London, even though I was living on the continent, for this very reason.

If you have the time, a write up on the import process UK to DE in our Europe section would be great. I was meaning to do one too about the UK to CH process...
