Another noob to this site located just outside of Boise, ID. Just agreed to purchase a 2002 XJ8 VDP on a gentleman's handshake. The keys are turned over to our possession Thursday since it's most convenient for the current owner. Pristine condition with service records since new. 77k on the clock. June '02 build date. I've been lurking here performing my research. This seems like a great site, lots of technical info. Looking forward to the forums.

I was lurking only to research before deciding on an X308. As far as being a gentleman, well, I try. I will fill out my signature upon finalizing the purchase today and getting the car into my shop. I don't want to jinx myself.
