Default F-type in Belgium

Hello Everyone.

Just a quick intro.
Last Saturday I picked up my 2019 2.0 R-dynamic in Corris Grey optioned with
blind spot monitor & rear traffic monitor
DAB tuner
Electric rear hatch
Retractable heated and dimming mirrors
Keyless entry
Polished metal pedals
Privacy glass
panoramic roof
Windsor leather seats
Heated steering wheel
20" 6 split spoke rims in dark grey.

The car it replaces is a 2017 Camaro 2.0 and oh what a difference in quality and ride. I was used to driving Dodge Rams the last one being a 2014. Eventually the size did become bothersome in the cities and small roads I went with the Camaro to suit my love for US cars. 1.5 later I was truly unimpressed with the build quality and small issues popping up which shouldn't on a 1.5 year old car.
So in a yolo moment I bought the car I fell in love with the moment it was released in coupé form . It was previously unachievable as road and other taxes made it impossible for a self employed engineer to own a V8 or V6. Thankfully (and some might think it's blasphemy) Jaguar decided to drop the 2.0 in the F-type. Compared to the 2.0 Camaro the F-type sounds surprisingly good.
So before you are bored to death a picture at the dealer as I didn't have time to make a decent one.
Regards,
Nick

Hello, Nick,
We don't generally deal in such concepts as Blasphemy here, we deal in Personal Choices and the variety thereof; Live and let live.
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
Quite a different animal from a 'mere' Camaro! Good Job!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Nice picture!!

Regarding the 2.0 in your car.... I actually just had a ride in a new 2.0 F-Pace, and I was amazed at how wonderful the engine was. First thing I started wondering was how good the engine might be in a significantly lighter Jag, such as yours. Apparently, even in the F-Pace it can manage 30+mpg at 75 mph. That's pretty amazing.

Thank you for the welcome everyone!
I indeed don't care what people think, the 2.0 suits me very well, it sounds good, the torque is there, pay lower taxes and is decent on the gas. It's truly a better engine then the Chevy ecotec.
