Default XKR-S The fifth symphony

Hello,

First of all I apologize for my English, (I am French, thanks for "google translate").

I signed up in May 2019 but haven't really participated in the forum since other than reading a few threads.I have successively owned 4 Jaguar, an S-Type 2.7D, an XF-S 3.0, then an XKR (X150) before returning to an XF 3.0D.

But for my 5th Jaguar I had the opportunity to find a 2012 XKRS with only 6000 miles (mileage certified by Jaguar). I have had the car since Thursday and almost slept in it the day I received it. I am as crazy as a child who receives an electric speed circuit game.

The 5th, but surely not the last is beautiful beautiful beautifulI.

PS - More about me : I'm a
midage surgeon who also like mechanic (I rebuild completely a 78 Fiat 124 Spider except the body, and maintain my Harley myself)

I'll do my best to post some images of the car

Welcome to the forums Tafar,

I know sufficient French to cope in restaurants and garages - after that I also resort to Google Translator!

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-x150-33/ to the X150 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello,
Congratulations on your Latest Jaguar!
An 8 year old car with only 6000 miles is indeed a Find.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome. As I limp toward the garage this morning to continue repairs on the Jaguar, I contemplate the similarity between humans and Jaguar cars. Both amazing machines but both so incredibly flawed and difficult to repair. The only difference is that with Jaguars, its the mechanic who needs anesthesia.

Yesss and the dealer do good job before selling the car. He refresh the car with New tires, front and rear suspension upgrade including ball joints and silent blocks. I’m only scared by the water hoses sitting for long time without water ...

As you have now discovered, signature changes appear with your NEXT post - NOT immediately. Many members have to ask the same question.

Thanks Graham. This is why I post one reply immediately after changing my signature. Just to see if the change occur. Anyway the site is well build and the FAQ very clear. Maybe you could add this in the FAQ, to avoid question about it.
