Finally got my Jag

Greetings!
I am happy to say that I am a new owner of a 2005 Jaguar S-Type R and I love it. This has to be one of the most under rated European cars out there. The ride is tight but smooth, the interior is beautifully appointed and the power is exhilarating to say the least. It was between this or a Cadillac STS and I am confident I made the right choice. I almost went the other way due to the Tata purchase and numerous issues discussed on this forum, but I am so glad I didn't (for now at least). I seem to be getting decent gas mileage on a mix of in town and highway driving, about 18 to 20 MPG. My biggest problem at the moment is trying to avoid speeding tickets. Glad to be part of the unique breed of Jaguar owners.

That was a big factor, the Jaguar is a style I like and it tends to be timeless. People will always love it or hate it, not much in between for Jaguar. It will be interesting to see what influence Tata has on the futre models.
Welcome and great choice! the chrome wheels look very sharp, I considered doing mine before I bought it....I saw your also a FL member check out the meet we have planned coming up next month in Orlando under the regionals-south section, it should be a great time!

The July meet looks like it will be at a nice location, I will try to make it. While over there, I would love to run the Jag at the Orlando Speedway just to see what I can do in the 1/4 mile. Any idea on what the turn out might be for the July meet?
Thought I would attach a larger picture of the Jag for everyone's viewing pleasure..hope this works!
