Finally Joined!
Hello All,
I am in Calgary, Alberta. I have 2 wonderful Jaguars. The 1991 XJ6 is White with 120,000 miles. It is at the local dealer now getting the left diagonal seat belt system repaired (under warranty!) - Thanks to this forum I learned that it was a lifetime warranted item and thus decided to join this valuable resource. The 2002 XJ8 is Silver with 63,000 Miles and is at the local British Car Specialist to repair 2 coolant leaks. If I want to drive a Jag every day I think I may need 3!
These cars are my wife's and my daily drivers. Both are hand me downs from my mother in law who lived in Florida. She bought them new there and when they were about to be sold we "rescued" them. I do park the 91 for the winters now but I drive the 02 all winter.
I am a long time "car guy". I have owned and operated Lawson's Carey Worldwide Chauffeured Services for over 35 years.
I look forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome to the forum Ian,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I see you have already posted in XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum but I think your 1991 is likely to be an XJ40 (1986-1994) also confusingly badged as XJ6.

If so, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj40-xj81-25/ to the XJ40 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
