AJ's always wanted an XJ-S, and I've been wanting a classic car, so where better to start than with her all time favourite? I spotted this 1987 XJ-SC 5.3L V12 a few weeks ago and we went back to bring it home with us. It's got maybe a little over 100K miles on it (speedo was working sporadically), but runs, and the body is in pretty good shape. We found someone local to work on it, and put in a couple grand to fix a few issues, but it's running great now.

With its age, we don't expect perfection, but rather enjoy having it to drive around. I'll be looking for answers on the forum in the future on a few niggling things, and hope to find other XJ-S owners near us (Binghamton, NY area).
