Default First Jag, First Car 96' XJ6 (AJ16 4.0)

Hello all,
My Name is Raymond I'm 17 but for reasons I was born in 1973 hope thats not ban-able, don't see why it would be anyway When I was quite young my father bought me My 96' Xj6 Aj16 (4.0) it contained Vanden Plas options but is truly a base 4.0 (1 of 2000+) it will be in my name fully in 3 months. ever since then I have tried to learn everything about it and the history of jaguar as I feel many jag owners use it as an appliance instead of the way I feel all of them should be driven "FAST&LOUD".

After I had received my License I disliked It's quietness but I've always been in love with cammed v8's so I wasn't sure Id like the sound of it...But oh boy was I wrong! First it started with no resonators and bigger tips. Then came no mufflers and 45deg turnsouts in the middle, And after hesitation I cut the primary cats out with 45deg turnouts again the sound was amazing at Idle it would echo off objects with a very strong almost muscle-y sound And to the floor It sounded like a full on XKE racecar. However at about 1800-2200 (cruise)rpm the droning would vibrate everything and give me headaches.

So After all that I discovered the Xj-12 Broadspeed AKA the sexiest jag ever and saw it had side exhaust my original plan was to have both pipes out of the left side unmuffled no primary cats as most I-6 race engines do with a single pipe however since I had the option of 2 pipes I went out both sides to spread the straight 6 glory 360 degrees right in front of the rear tires, It wasn't my idea but As end pieces there are 18'' Red Thrush glasspacks. Since I have learned the manifolds contain secondary cats I may revert to straight pipes on a later date. "The backfiring is amazing, will shoot flames :P" I always drive with my windows down. Never Recorded Straight but trust me, it was glorious

Other mods Ive done:
Simplified open airbox and tunnel
Two tone Silver Top, British Racing Green Bottom
Mesh Grill (Bentley Style)
Black Metallic Stock Rims
600watt dual 12'' MTX subwoofers
GT Yellow/Gold Brights
Took out Water Thermostat, Might get a new one for winter

Things I'd LOVE to do:
Redo Paint (ShowCar Quality)
Find some one Who Can make lopey high lift cams for me
Timing Revision Bracket
Fab A metal Air Intake Tunnel (smooth flow)
Lower 2''-3'' springs for track only
Rear 11'' Drag Radials
100 Shot of NOS
Mount a 600hp Chevy 350 if dont want the I6 anymore
ETC

So that is the short story of Most likely the best car I will ever own. If you guys have any cool Ideas or cheap ways to make my jag even more amazing please contact me.

May Jaguar Forever be amazing!!!
