First question!
Hi there! I’m Nicola! I am a single mom living in NC I grew up in the UK! I am currently searching for my first Jaguar! Excited to find this forum and looking forward to the friends and advice I hope to get! Ans maybe give back one day as I learn more!
So! I hear there are certain years that Jaguars are “good” or “bad”. I’m looking at used ones the XF and XE. I have been looking as far back as 2010 to 2017
Any suggestions on years to steer clear of ? Thank you so much!

Nicola,
Slide on down the Home Page a tad.
You will find the XE Tech Section, there is a lot of advice etc in the "stickies: at the top of that section
Same goes for the XF (X250) and (X260) models.
ALL Jags, well any car for that matter, are only as good as the previous caretaker.
Service records on the later Jags is more important than colour etc.
Members in those 3 Sections will also advise what to look out for.
Good luck

Welcome to the forums Nicola,

More important than “good” or “bad” years with any used Jaguar is “good” or “bad” previous owners. Regular maintenance is crucial to keeping them in top condition and a neglected example can be a money pit.
