Hey everyone! I signed up to become a member today. I've read this forum throughout the year and really respect the information I've gained from doing so. I own a 98 Jaguar XJ8 that I use as my daily driver. The motor was just rebuilt after reaching 253,000 miles. I inherited it from dad who didn't want to sell it, but didn't want to deal with the costs of the engine etc. However, the car is in great shape. I also bought a 98 Vanden Plas yesterday on the cheap. Runs well with 140,000 miles on it, but the interior has and paint has been weathered for sure. I bought it to have a supply of used parts for my daily driver. We'll see if it works out I guess!! Anyway, glad to be a member and thanks to those whose posts have helped keep my blood pressure at a normal level.

Welcome to the forum - I see you have been reading for the past year so no need for the link to the XJ8 section. Be sure to check out the first few threads at the top of the page though for a wealth of how to's, downloads, etc.

Recommend clicking on the user cp link in the upper left and adding a signature - include model and year - helps techs provide best responses to questions you may have - enjoy!!!!!!!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
