Default G'day Yanks!

Hi, new member from Orstraylya here.
I've been lurking for a few months, having bought my first Jag just under five months ago.
It's a 2010 XFS, a model you Yanks never got.
3.0 liter V6 twin turbo intercooled diesel, stock 275 hp and 443 ft/lb torque.
I've fitted a tuning chip, K&N air filter and straight through rear mufflers, and I estimate it's now putting out around 320 hp and 500 ft/lb.
Heaps of cosmetic mods as well, too many to list!
Here's a few recent pics:

Hi Oz... I am a uk owner (My preference being old XJ's)

Lovely XF you have - Great colour too!

I Move to Adelaide in October, sadly i wont have had my current XJR for over 12 months, so cant take as a personal import :-(

Whats the market like over there for older XJ saloons? I'm guessing the cars have a much higher value there than they do in the uk?

Someone mentioned that my XJR (That you could buy here in the UK for £2500) might cost as much as $18000 in AU??

Welcome to the forum OzXFS,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XF tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me.

You can also visit the Australia / New Zealand Region forum by following this link Australia / New Zealand - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome from me too Oz. (fellow Oz)

That's looks beautiful, thanks for the Pics. That's good horses for any V6 but very impressive being a diesel.
If LPG prices have gone up in Crow Country like here, that's not viable now either. Not that I have ever seen a Jag on LPG.

AS you have a later model Jag Oz, I might be better qualified to answer Richards Question if I'm not butting in.

"Someone mentioned that my XJR (That you could buy here in the UK for £2500) might cost as much as $18000 in AU??"
You are right to an extent Richard but for 18K it would be more likely an X308 XJR in good nick. But an X300 that is excellent condition could get there. Remember we don't really have a rust issue here.
