Gotta say.... hi everyone
New to the jaguar scene, wasn't something I planned to ever buy. My wife's parents gave her an x type, and now I know why they didn't sell it to her. This thing has more issues than a mental ward. I figured this would be the best place to get some ideas that could maybe help me straighten out my wife's problem child

The thing with Jaguars, or even Forduars (Jaguars built under Ford's ownership which is what your wife's X-type really is), one MUST keep up with maintenance!! Those little things that go wrong in any car, simply Can't be ignored or they get together and Breed like a bunch of farm cats until they're unmanageable, at which time owners usually push them.
Members of our X-type section have seen it all. They will be able to help you get a handle on that Problem Child.
