Greeting from downtown Chicago
This is my 4rth Jaguar since 1981. The first was the new series III, not a good car but I loved it anyway. I drove the 1998 XJ* for 12+ years. Thatwas a good car. Now I have a pre-loved XJ8 L that lived its first few years in southern California where there is no salt.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

How nice to have these welcomes and thanks for the advice. I've come into the forum initially for help with the ACM.
I'm a veteran of a 1982 Jaguar XJ6 Series III (1981-1988), a 1988 XJ8 (1988 - 1998) and a 1998 XJ8 (1998 - 2011). Now I drive a pre-owned 2008 XJ8 L. So that's Jag #4. I loved them as a teenager when I saw an XK150 go by.
