Default Greetings all

Hello,

Just wanted to say HI, I am a new (used) Jag owner from East end. Work in Scarborough and live in Pickering.
I always wanted a Jag, now it finally came around. I purchased a 4L V8 2000 SType for a very reasonable price with only 114k on it and getting ready for driving it.

Just a few thing to fix, the drivers door has a few bumps, also the mirror might need replacing. Some concrete pier from an underground garage was in the way of the previous (and only owner) under his downton condo
Lucky me, he sold the car and moved to Florida, less concrete columns...LOL

Anyways, I will see you around and maybe I will get together with the boys if you people are still meeting at Pickering Town Centre.

All the best!
A

I think I know how you feel. I wasn't looking for a Jaguar, but I kind of bumped into it when my last car blew its headgasket and started overheating everyday. I might have gone for an S-Type if I had planned it. ...As the S-type seems the bigger and more powerful sedan, however, the X-Type has all wheel drive. And, there is no substitute for that!

In any case, you've found a good bunch here and, they know what they're talking about.

Enjoy your Jag.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. Looks like you did this.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

thank you.

feel good in here friendly people, hard to find sites where people only dedicate their experiece(s) and knowledge. another proof that distances ddont matter between people.

I found good things in the link you gave me Jim. I am evaluating my options to buy and have shipped the parts needed ie. a door, mirror, side moldings and markers. once the car will be restored to its initial look I will post some pictures.

cheers!
