Default Greetings from Arizona!!

As my forum name implies, I love hiking and otherwise being outdoors in our wonderful desert here in Arizona. My other fun pursuits include backpacking, mountain biking, pistol shooting and travel. I had the good fortune to be able to retire quite early, so life is great all around.

I joined the forum to learn more about my new F-Type S Coupe. This is my second Jag - the first being an S-Type, V6, 2002. We've also owned BMW, Mercedes and a variety of more common vehicles. This is the first 2 seater performance sports car in the family, and we're looking forward to enjoying it. The wife and I will likely take the 2 day Stingray () High Performance Driving School. Our other current vehicle is a loaded Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk - it gets me to destinations where the Jag F-Type S can't go.

I belong to a few other forums relating to Breitling watches, Beretta pistols and Jeep vehicles. I look forward to learning from and participating in the jaguarforums, and hope to contribute when topics are in my comfort zone.

Welcome to the forum Desert Hiker,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

You can also visit the USA Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-southwest-az-tx-nm-ok-37/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

JimC64, Thanks for the welcome, the upgrade, and the links to downloads. This will prove to be a wonderful forum for me as I learn about my new F-Type. My goal is to be as helpful as I can to others, while I come up the learning curve.

What do I need to do to lose the "Junior".

DH - To lose the "junior" just simply keep on enjoying the forum and making posts, join in the fun in the off topics area, get to 100 posts and become a senior member, only 990 after that to become a veteran...lol
