Default Greetings from Aus

Hi
Just saying gidday.
Live in NSW and drive a 1974 Daimler. I guess most of you will cringe but it's running a 308 V8 stroked to 355 and a 4 speed auto tranny. Don't worry, the rest of it is still Jag so plenty of stuff to keep it on the hoist
Currently doing the usual rear wheel bearings, rear caliper rebuild, front brake pads, control arm bushes, ball joints, rusty fuel tank etc etc etc.
This is a great place for sourcing info and ideas. It makes life much easier than just relying on a manual!
Cheers Simon

Welcome to the forum Simon,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

That powertrain should make for an interesting increase in performance.

It sounds like you've probably already found the technical forum but if not, follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ6 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - New South Wales Region forum by following this link Australia - New South Wales / ACT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Simon,
It's good to know some of the *Classics* still survive and are coming out of the woodwork, so to speak. I'll look for you over in our Xj6 section.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
