Hey everyone. After a couple of posts on FB groups I'v noticed everyone said I should hang around here to find better help, So I started to browse here and loved the community.
Sooo the car is not mine. It's a friends. Nice looking low mileage 2003 STR (80.000Km or 50.000mls), with that catch like you are drunk in a bar and left with beautifoul company. Until next morning you sober out...
The car was bought on auction. Minor damage to the rear end... and actually it looks like it was really minor. My friend fixed it and... it just never worked. To be quick here on the presentation, the ECU looks to be the culprit and I have a mission to fix it or install a Programmable ECU (Fueltech for the win!).
I'm guessing this thing will try to kill me with exaustion, but still worth trying!
I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
If you need help with getting around and using the forum follow this link for some help Forum Help
Hello, Andrew,
It's so good of you to help your friend like this. I'm sorry the car has been a disappointment, but when one buys at auction one takes that chance.
However, if it can be fixed at all, members of our S-type section will know how to do it. I wish you success.
