Greetings From Frozen Iowa!
Hello everyone! I am new to Jag ownership, bought a '01 XJ8 VDP in June of last year. I really love the car, but must confess that for a few years I've been planning the purchase as a donor car for an LSx V8. I hope this doesn't make me a heretic! I purchased a LS2/4L65E almost 2 years ago and now have it running on my run-in stand. So, the Jag 4 liter is ready to come out and the 6 liter dropped in. Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from this forum!

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Numerous members here have exchanged the Jaguar engine for an alternative of their preference; usually, but not always, for a Chevy of some sort.
It's YOUR car, and you have the right to do whatever YOU want to do with it.
