Welcome to the forum Alex,

That's a beautiful looking XJR. I don't imagine you see too many others in Tbilisi?

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. If you can't find the answer to your problem, start a new thread in XK8/XKR section.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the 'Other Areas' Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/other-areas-43/ to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Thanks Steve, Graham.

Indeed there is not much of XJR's you can find in Tbilisi

This one's imported from Japan like a year ago and i believe it's manufactured in Canada if they manufacture Jaguar in Canada.

Here's another picture

Alex,

I hope spare parts availability isn't as scarce there as other Jaguars!

The X300's were all built at Jaguar's Browns Lane factory in Coventry, UK. The specifications for different markets around the World vary and dealers sometimes had their own 'special editions' with a specific combination of accessories etc fitted.

If you want to know the original factory build specification, Jaguar dealers can print off
the details from the 'Direct Dealer Warranty System' for any Jaguar.

Graham, none of the spare parts are available in my country for this car unfortunately, but everything i needed so far i ordered from US web sites with the Cargo Forwarding companies. they take a lot ($8 per kg) but it's here in a week after it gets delivered on their US address.

Even the brake pads i had to order because i could not find it here in Tbilisi. There was a chance that some other brake pads would fit as for example my friend who owes JDM nissan skyline uses nissan pathfinder brake pads but i wasn't up for a trip from shop to a shop with my car jacked up

Alex,

It has to be very expensive importing everything for it.

You could probably get lower prices but it would be longer delivery times from European suppliers.

Alex,

I've searched the membership list and can't find anyone else from Tbilisi or Georgia. You've just become a trendsetter.
