The X350 was introduced in 2003 as the successor to the X308. Production of the X350 lasted until 2007 when it was facelifted and rebadged as the X358. Production of the model ended in 2009. The designation X358 is rarely used and most members refer to the entire 2003 - 2009 production as X350.
