Default Greetings from Haarlem, Netherlands

A quick introduction from Europe. My name is Noud and I live close to Amsterdam in a town called Haarlem. I spend a lot of time tinkering with older cars and I currently own a 1977 XJ6 Coupe and a 1999 Daimler V8. I've had the coupe for a few years now and during this time I have been gradually improving what was already a pretty solid car. I tend to keep things original although this is not a very strict rule. My son Steven shares my hobby and we often work on the cars together and we're not afraid to get our hands dirty. The Daimler is a recent addition and it looks like I found a good one. Even though it came with no service history whatsoever, I've had it inspected and as it turns out it has a rebuilt gearbox and timing chains upgrade so the big ticket items have been dealt with.

I will gladly tap into the wealth of information on this forum and if I can I will certainly chip in myself.

Noud

Welcome to the forum Noud,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. Follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the
XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link Europe - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Noud,
Those coupes seem to be crawling out of the woodwork lately!
I'll look for over in our Xj6 playpen where Graham has directed you.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
