Greetings from land of costly cars
Hello everyone,
First, i would like to pay tribute to the fellas who built and now maintaining this very resourceful forum site. A big thank you.
I bought my 1st JAG XK 4.2 NA coupe 08 model last year for about £42000 in KL Malaysia with 9000miles on the clock. This car was retailing for around £186,400 when new here.
It is a ridiculous price to pay, but folks here have no choice but to pay through our nose mostly for the 200% taxes involved. This car was once owned by someone in the UK, and it was exported over to M'sia back in 2009/10 and has been sitting in a showroom for a few years before i bought it.
If there is any UK fella who has owned a jag bearing the registration plate GL07 VEH, do get in touch with me.
So far, i am very very pleased with the XK. It is sensational to drive and is the best car i've owned (compared to the BMW Z4, Fiat Coupe 20VT, SAAB 05 turbo, and Mazda CX7 currently in my stable).
Now i know why jag owners are mostly diehard fans.
Happy to be here.
