Greetings from the newest guy (for now)
Greetings... not one to buck tradition (most of the time) so...
I acquired a well cared for 2001 XK8 with barely 100K a month or so ago and have been silently cruising the forum since then. There seems to be a lot of good info (and good people) here, so I have decided to join this august group. As an experienced general mechanic, electronics tech by trade and all around fabricator of unique items I hope I prove worthy despite this being my first Jaguar.

After a month of silent cruising you probably already know your way to the tech section but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...z-tx-nm-ok-37/ to find other members in your region.
