Had too many Jaguars for too long!
Hi,
I'm Alan, as may be guessed from my username and, I live in London UK!
Currently own 1981 XJ6 3.4, 1973 XJ6 4.2 and 1984 XJS 5.3HE amongst several other non Jags. Mercedes 560 SEL, Mercedes 420SL, Mercedes 380SEC, Range Rover 4.6 HSE, Rover 623Gsi and the car in which I do most mileage, a 2003 Citroen C5 1.8vtr.
Over the years I have owned many Jaguars, the most missed being my 1962 E-Type FHC 3.8. How I wish I could buy that car back!
Know a bit about cars and will try and help where possible; but still get stumped by some problems.

Thanks Graham.
I've read all the stuff, honest!
See you're in Durham. I have just (literally) had my son asking to be driven back to Durham Uni at the end of the month and would that be all OK. All OK? Sooner the better I say.
Like your car. Quite fancy an F-type but a friend hated the ride, found it hard and annoying, so I am somewhat put off. Guess I'll have to arrange a drive in one.
