Well hopefully the above has got your attention.

I am Bobbybiscuit (Bob) from Plymouth Devon UK. I have just purchased from a private seller a 2001 Jaguar S type 3.0 V6.

Since I bought it just over a week ago the following has gone wrong:

a) Brake warning light is on now with a warning that brake fluid level is low
b) passenger window regulator broke
c) drive belt squeals like mad

So not a great introduction and already costing me a fortune.

Lets see what the future brings - better luck hopefully.

Signed up to see what i can do myself - at age 63 looks like I will be doing my own repairs.

I must admit the parts are reasonably priced.

Wooohooo!!!! :-)

Welcome.

Normal S Type issues for the age. Both ours did the same in the first week, nothing else for the last 2 years.

Do it once, do it right, stay out of there for the next 10 years.
