Hello!
Hey everyone,
My name is Jonathan. I'm a new member here and a first time Jag owner. I've had my '02 X-type for about a month now, and I'm in love! I've always loved the style, driving dynamics and sophistication of European cars, but Jaguar takes it to an even higher level than the Saab and VW's I've owned before.
My new baby is British racing green, which is one of my all-time favorite colors on a car, and best of all, it's a 5 speed manual! (personally, I loathe automatic transmissions.) So far, I am very impressed with this forum. I am so thankful that there are several professional Jaguar service technicians on here. Anyways, thanks for being here, and I look forward to many years as a member here.

Hi Jonathan:
Welcome to the forum and greetings from a fellow Midwesterner! Congrats on the new car. Sounds like you found a nice one! I hear you on the choice of transmission… Personally, I love the stick shift. But since I'm also usually drinking coffee or swatting at kids in the back seat
, I have found the auto to be helpful. Enjoy the forum and welcome to the club!
Cheers,
Scott
