Default Hello

As the title suggests I am new to the forum. I'm not a Jaguar owner yet, but plan to be later this year. My home is Houston, TX, but, I'm old and retired, and spend six months (the hot ones) away. I'm currently in Oregon, traveling with my wife and dog, living in an Airstream.
I have been lurking a bit, searching for info on XKs. I have decided on a 2010 coupe, and will spend the next few months looking for the "right" one. I plan to make my purchase in Sep. - Oct. after we get home.
Any suggestions on www sites to aid my search are appreciated - along with recommended dos and don'ts. And if that is not the correct spelling of the plural for do, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks to all for the welcomes. Guess I spelled "dos" correctly.
A little history:
I'm here because I stopped at a local Jaguar dealer a couple months ago just to look at a F-Type. What a beauty! A short conversation with one of the salesmen convinced me that the F was not for me because of the lack of luggage space. I commented that I was just looking, as I'm a "Porsche guy". Famous last words.
Looking for an XK - no "R". I had a C6 recently and my wife drove it once, got scared never got behind the wheel again. Too much brutal power, not much finesse. Reflexes are too slow to spend long miles with the engine behind the rear wheels. I have done a 540 in the rain, on I-10, in heavy traffic. When the engine is in the front while driving a 911, big trouble is ahead - or behind - not sure which it is.
This is our fourth year in the Airstream. It is a hoot! We leave Texas when it gets hot, and return when things cool down.

I thought you were joking about "dos".

Have to agree about the F-Type. I found the decrease in load capacity in my current XK Coupe compared with my previous XK8 is inconvenient for continental touring. The even smaller F-Type would be totally unsuitable.
