Hello All!
Long time reader, now registered.
Owner of a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R 4.2ltr V-8, with all the fun and quirks that come with her.
Her name is Della Rose, just hit 90k miles and I have already spent some $$ getting her right. So far top speed reached is 155mph, beating the listed top speed of 152.
Ready to take on the little quirks and whatever may come, I am looking forward to being a member of this community.
As you have already found your way to the S-Type forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
90k miles is just now well broken in and loosened up. You should get Many Thousands more miles out of your car.
I find that giving a vehicle a name causes one to give it better care. Too many people just Drive them, performing No maintenance, and then when it quits in protest, they become annoyed! Go figure!
Hello Reklaw1973! Welcome to the forum! Nice to see another S-Type owner and someone else who gave their car a name! My car's name is Helena, by the way. Yes, these S-Types are a bit high maintenance - but it's SO worth it when you drive them and you see other drivers just stare at your car. I love that part. (giggling under my breath).
Lots of great people and information here - enjoy!
