Hello..!!!!
Hi There.
Well I'm Ian, I have loved Jaguars ever since I was in my friends dads XJ6 Series 1, and I said I'd love to have a Jag one day, so guess what I did eventually. I have had 4 now, 1st a XJ40 and boy did I learn a lot about Jags with that car. Then it was a X300 3.2 Sport in red, absoloutly beautiful car, but someone decided to park thier car in my boot one day and it was subsequently written off. Then it was a Black X-Type 2.5 sport for a short period, sounded lovely, but just not me, so I ended it with a thirsty 1998 X308 XJR in Blue. One hell of a car and I love it, in fact you could say I spend more on keeping it in tip top condition than I do on the missus, but who gives me more pleasure, well thats another story..!!! She (my Jag) needs some work now as she is showing her age, so next month, she is having her rear wheela arches done on both sides, 2 new wings, and I was aghast to see the sill have corroded through, so we are rectifying that as well, so big job, but certainly necessary.
Many thanks for now. Ian.

Welcome to the forum Ian,
Excellent advice from Norri.
Pics of the 'before' and 'after' bodywork repairs would make a good post on the X308 section.

Hi Ian and welcome. I am the regional coordinator for the UK section.
As you have found out, the cars don't last for ever, there will always be a little, sometimes big job to do, but the Jaguar ambience and ride is beguiling. It certainly is to me, anyway, although the best riding was the XJ Series 1, 2 & 3 IMHO.
