Hello all. So, I have been searching for a Jaguar for a few months now. I wanted a nice 2004 S-Type or XJ or later and had a $12000 budget. I have been in West Palm Beach for a week and thought I would look around over the weekend. Well I found her. The damn near perfect one. Thing is, its a 1999 XJ8. The only reason I went to look at it was it was listed as a one owner with 59K miles on it. Also, I had not driven that body style. I could not believe the condition of this wonderful looking car. Its British Racing Green and has always been a Chicago/West Palm Beach car. The carfax shows 41 service and maintenance records and you can follow the owners trips back and forth. Chicago during the summer and Florida during the winter. It was traded in on a new Cadillac lease. It has one issue being the inside rear view mirror. The paint is easily a 9.5 or better out of 10. The owner told the dealer that it stayed in the garage here in Florida for most of its life. I got a sweet deal and I leave Tuesday morning for the 800 mile drive back to Huntsville, Alabama. I am so excited to finally own a Jaguar. Everyone kept telling me I would not be able to find a perfect Jaguar for under $10K. I am glad I waited for the right one. Although it is not new perfect it is pretty damn close. Looking forward to learning more about this awesome automobile.

I can only imagine the previous owner's disappointment, going from a Jaguar to a mere Caddy! His loss, your gain! Congratulations!

I too always go for one owner, low miles with FSH Jaguars. Well worth the time and effort to find them. Enjoy the drive home and post some pictures.
