Default Hello all!

After years of drooling whenever I saw an S Type, with its distinctive grill and the leaping cat, I finally bought one about three months ago.

She's a 2001 3.0, 97,000 miles. I have quickly learned that Jag's can be, shall we say, quirky. This forum has been extremely helpful as I've done some troubleshooting and research, and I thought it was time I stopped procrastinating and get registered.

Thanks to all of you for the great advice and guidance you provide!

Jim in Toledo
2001 S Type 3.0

Hi Jim:

Holy Toledo! You've bought a Jag! (Sorry, couldn't resist. Why do we say 'Holy Toledo' anyway?) Welcome to the forum and from a fellow Midwesterner. Enjoy the new car and stay warm!

Cheers,
Scott

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I look forward to getting to know each of you better and talking "Jaguar"!
Jim

To MidwestJag: Scott, the commonly accepted origin of the phrase "Holy Toledo!" is that it references the proliferation of beautiful churches all over town built by the early immigrants that settled here; all faiths, all nationalities and impressive enough that there are actually tours that go from church to church.
