Default Looking for a proper ride...

hello Jaguar Forums,

I decided to join so I can learn more about the X-type Sportwagons before jumping on one for myself. I have been looking for one with a 5-speed manual, but they are hard to find.

I am active with Volvo and Astro/Safari forums, so should hopefully fit right in.

Happy New Year,

Herminator

Graham, Steve, Cat,

Thanks for the welcome, I have already trolled over to the X-Type forum.

I will try to find a nice Sportwagon to complement my need for speed and dog transport.

Norri and Aholbro,

Thanks for the greeting. I have noticed that there are several folks streaming in weekly to JaguarForums. This is a good sign and a great way to keep these cats purring.

I am looking for an X-type Sportwagon, hopefully with manual transmission, but I am getting the picture that this option was not available state-side. I may have to pick up a parts car (2.5L sedan with 5-speed) and do a conversion.
