Hello to all, hope you'll accept a foreigner.
I took my time to google around the internet, looking for information about my new car, and found out that your site, guys, is propably best one around. I live in a small country Lithuania (it's in Eastern Europe), and as we don't have local Jaguar club, we are forced to look for information a bit further. Even though that Jag is British car, and Great Britain is much much closer to me, their forums somehow didn't catch my attention. Maybe its becouse of British English (I learnedEnglishwathing Hollywood movies), maybe British clubs are just too British. I mean, I lived there for a year, and can now say that they don't appriciate Jag that much. There aren't many of them on the streets, and if one is looking for a stylish ride, he'd rather prefer Mercedes. So this is the place to be, for a Jaguar owner.

Hi Beekeeper and welcome to our forum.......great to have you aboard.
Why not post up some pics of your car and show her off a little? Maybe visit the mug shot thread in the off topic section and see who's who, maybe add a pic of your own?
I'm sure once you check out the S type section and maybe post a little the guys will all make you very welcome.

Thanx for nice wellcomes. To ibjags - yes, my car do have some issues. First the engine - it makes sound, which is somehow similar to the one the diesels make, its not loud, you cant hear it inside the car, but still something's not right. Second - car description says it should go 0-100 km/h in 7.9s, the best I could do was 8.9, I understand that this is not a race car, but still one second is missing.
